Two men were arrested last week in connection with two armed robberies in Santa Cruz and Capitola. According to police, Victor Lamont Sims, 36, and Dimani Collins, 35, robbed a bank at the corner of Monterey Avenue and Lawn Way in Capitola last Tuesday, then proceeded to Santa Cruz, where they robbed a second bank on the 100 block of Sycamore less than an hour later.
